As our new Program Leader Reliability, your team is responsible for guaranteeing and improving the product lifetime of our flexible thin film photovoltaic (PV) modules by performing dedicated lifetime tests, identifying failure modes, mitigating/solving issues as well as qualifying new materials for production.
HyET Solar Netherlands is a leading SME in the field of flexible thin film photovoltaic (PV) modules and is founded in 2012. HyET Solar Netherlands has introduced the first commercially viable thin film solar foil (Powerfoil) and has customers all around the world. HyET enters into partnerships with key stakeholders to develop products with a focus on application. Our staged approach delivers a clear view of options and results in products that satisfy customer requirements. HyET’s headquarters are located in Arnhem, the Netherlands and is run by an experienced interdisciplinary team.
HyET Solar has concluded successfully its recent capital raise and is expanding its production capacity in the Netherlands to 300 MW. Simultaneously it is preparing its international expansion, in close cooperation with its business partners (a 1 GW factory is in design phase).
As our new Program Leader Reliability, your team is responsible for guaranteeing and improving the product lifetime of our flexible thin film photovoltaic (PV) modules by performing dedicated lifetime tests, identifying failure modes, mitigating/solving issues as well as qualifying new materials for production. New materials will have to be evaluated because of increase of performance of the PV layers, releasing second suppliers, or evaluating new materials to meet the cost roadmap targets. The responsibilities also include testing and releasing the product on the various safety tests as required by international IEC norms.

Together with the project leader and project management support, the project engineers will manage our equipment suppliers and contractors in realisation of the new factory. As part of this team, you will work with other colleagues with a background in production, maintenance and technology.
