Process Engineer – Solar Foil – 5 Shift

As Process Engineer you are responsible for yield, uptime and quality of the production process. As part of a production team of 7 people running in 5-shift operation you are the main trouble shooter ensuring operation. From the found issues you will boost the improvements on products, processes, materials and machines. In our fast-growing company, you help scale up production capacity. New machines, production locations and processes are introduced that need to be efficiently controlled.

HyET Solar
HyET Solar is based in Arnhem and has developed a new cost-efficient technology to produce flexible light-weight solar panels. Examples of applications are modern odd shaped roofs, large oil storage tanks, and roofs which cannot bear the heavy traditional glass based panels, like airports, shopping malls and petrol stations.
Currently we are in the in the upscaling from pilot production to mass production of our power foil in Arnhem and for this project we are looking for new technical colleagues.

Your role
As Process Engineer you are responsible for yield, uptime and quality of the production process. As part of a production team of 7 people running in 5-shift operation you are the main trouble shooter ensuring operation. From the found issues you will boost the improvements on products, processes, materials and machines.

In our fast-growing company, you help scale up production capacity. New machines, production locations and processes are introduced that need to be efficiently controlled.

What are you going to do?

• Trouble shooting expert in 5-shift operation to support the weekly agreed production volumes of the production team;
• Deploy structural issues to process and R&D engineering teams;
• Train new operators on processes;
• Testing new products, processes, materials;
• Define process specifications and standard operating procedures; 

What we are looking for?

• Bachelor/Master degree in Physics, Chemistry, Material science;
• Relevant work experience (3-5 years) in a production environment (instrumentation, web handling, vacuum, materials);
• Oral/written proficiency in Dutch and English; German language is a pre;
• Skills in, PID’s, SCADA, MES or PLM are an advantage;
• Team player within your shift and to the whole production team;
• Driven to design and set up of new processes;
• You are pro-active and accurate.
